What Plan Best Suits You?
Collington offers active older persons the opportunity to live in private residences with household services, recreation and health care readily available on campus – all with the added security of Life Care. A Fee for Service contract also is available as an alternative to a Life Care contract. Both Life Care and Fee for Service contracts are offered with a choice of three Entrance Fee Plans.
Life Care: An all-inclusive plan for the future – also called “Type A Contract”
With the Life Care option at Collington, you’re assured unlimited access to nursing care—including assisted living, recuperative care, memory care if needed—all included in your monthly fee. You can live confidently today knowing your needs will be met in the future, without any large and/or unexpected expenses for care.
Fee-for-Service: An alternative option – also called “Type C Contract”
Our Fee-for-Service option lets you enjoy the Collington independent lifestyle at a lower monthly fee. This fee includes residence services, activities and meals—keeping you in control of your finances. However, if you should need any supportive or health care services, you will pay for those services when they are used. This plan is often a perfect complement to long-term care insurance plans.
We recommend that you consult your insurance provider, financial planner &/or tax professional to choose the best plan for you.
Entrance Plan Options
- A 90% Refundable Entrance Fee
- 90% of your entrance fee will be refunded to you, should you move, or to your estate – no matter how long you live in the community
- A 50% Refundable Entrance Fee
- Pay a lower entrance fee, while retaining a 50% refund to you or your estate
- Traditional Declining Entrance Fee Refund
- This choice offers the lowest entrance fee. You will receive a pro-rated refund should you reside in the community less than 50 months
Monthly Service Package Options
The Monthly Service Package covers services and amenities such as basic utilities, security and maintenance, fitness center and exercise classes, indoor heated pool, local transportation, housekeeping and linen service, daily meal plan and much more.
All Residents are required to maintain, at their expense, medical and prescription insurances, as well as Medicare A&B or equivalent coverage.
